The Vision for Brazos Valley Cowboy Church

Brazos Valley Cowboy Church is a lighthouse for the Kingdom of God in the Brazos Valley and beyond. Our mission is to advance the kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven.

  I pray that we are to obtain at least thirty acres or more to build a multi-purpose facility that will reach the lost for the Kingdom of God and bring the family back together.  The sanctuary is to be multi-purposed and be built as a theatre or auditorium; this would include a stage and curtains.  Used for church services, drama, theatre productions, southern/country gospel concerts, etc… 

   I pray that we are to start a Country and Christian Opry (like the “Grand Ole Opry”),  possibly Friday nights to bring the general public onto the church grounds.  This will give us an avenue to reach people for Christ using music and also give families a place for good wholesome entertainment that has a Christ-centered message.

  I pray that we are to build or erect a professional quality rodeo arena to be used for church events and possibly to be rented out for roping, barrel racing, and other rodeo event associations. This will draw people onto the church grounds so they can be reached for Christ. This will also allow us to hold Rodeo Bible Camps, “He Paid Your Fees” events, (where if you come to church you can enter the event free), educational clinics, and even therapy programs for sick and disabled children to ride horses and to receive ministry. This arena will also give our church family a place to fellowship and ride their horses.

  I pray that we are to hold many family activities on the grounds such as chuck wagon campouts, trail rides, campfire Bible studies, cook-outs, and many other activities that will bring the family closer together.

  I pray that we are to build a horse boarding stable with stalls or runs for college students, and for those that don’t have a place to keep their horses. These will be rented; they will bring in revenue for the church, and give people a safe, clean, alcohol-free Christian environment in which to keep their horses. This will also be an avenue of drawing people on the church grounds to hear Gods word.

  I pray that we are to build a multi purposed youth facility to draw young people. This will allow them to have a good time in a Christian setting which will give them an alternative to dance halls, bars, and parties with alcohol and drugs. This will give young adults a place to hang out with integral Christian mentors. It will provide social interaction and fellowship through games and activities in which will build them up and positively influence them. This will also draw in the lost youth and they can be encouraged and ministered to.

  I truly believe that this is only a glimpse of what God has for this church. I believe that we are to make a difference in this world. This vision will only happen if we take action. God has called us to make the difference in this region. All I ask of you is to pray and ask God what part you are to play. It takes many pieces of a puzzle to make a beautiful picture, and I am only one piece. What piece of the puzzle are you?  Let’s catch the vision and make a difference building the Kingdom of God in the Brazos Valley area and beyond.
